We are sorry to announce that we are losing two of our highly valued members of the village hall committee. Our Chair, Jacq Denham, and Treasurer, Chris Denham, have decided to step down after over five years of hard work and dedication to the hall committee. Until the recent pandemic which has kept our hall closed, we enjoyed an increase in the number of fun events, clubs and local people using the hall. Jacq and Chris have given their time and considerable effort to make them such a success and we would like to thank them for all they have done, both front of house and behind the scenes, and wish them both all the best.
We hope to get back into the hall as soon as the current situation allows and we need new recruits to the village hall committee to enable us to keep up the good work. We are looking for committee members and trustees. If you think you could give some time and serve the community in a really practical way, we would love to hear from you.
An AGM on Zoom is being held and members of the public are very welcome to join us then. Details of how to join the meeting are being circulated in a Bugle Extra which will be coming to you soon.
