Regular events at Bowsden Village Hall

Cafe Bowsden Coffee Morning

Our friendly coffee mornings are a great opportunity to get together on the first Saturday of every month to meet new friends, chat and join our lively village community.

We have an excellent range of coffees, teas and beverages and a range of fresh homemade scones and cakes. Plus, the opportunity to win a great raffle prize.

Soup & Sandwich Lunch

Bowsden Village Hall & Bell View invite you to a monthly Soup & Sandwich Lunch on the third Wednesday of the month. We offer homemade soup, scones, cakes, and as much tea or coffee as you like.

All this including good company for only £5.00 each. We can now also offer beers and wine at very reasonable prices.

Bowsden History Group

Our popular History Group meets on the first Monday of the month except January. Visitors are most welcome. Join us from 7pm with the talks starting at 7.30pm. The bar will be open before the meeting, and tea and biscuits are available after the meeting.

Membership fee is £10 to cover all seven talks in the season or just come along and pay £2 at the door per talk. For more information contact Nick Jones at historygroup@bowsdenvillagehall.net.

Social Nights

Our monthly social nights have quickly become established as part of the social life of the village. The bar offers local keg craft beers, wines and soft drinks and nibbles. 

A variation to this is when we have our game nights when the bar offers the chance to sample a range of bottled beers.

Quiz Nights

Bowsden Village Hall’s famous Quiz Nights with your MC and Quizmaster Graeme Reavley offer another set of mind-bogglingly tricky questions for you to sharpen your grey cells on. Each quiz features a different theme. There is delicious food in the interval to keep you going, and of course the Bowsden Arms bar will be open. There is a £5 donation.

Carpet Bowls

Come along for a fun and friendly evening. New members are always welcome. Every Tuesday from 7.00 – 9.00 in the village hall.
