About us
Set in the heart of the pretty village of Bowsden, in the beautiful countryside of North Northumberland, Bowsden Village Hall is just 8 miles south of Berwick, off the B6525.
At the heart of our vibrant rural community, the village hall is home to a variety of local clubs, groups and events, including carpet bowls, craft and needlework, fitness classes and local history talks.
We have a busy calendar of regular community events, from our monthly coffee mornings and soup and sandwich lunches to film nights, social and quiz nights with a licensed bar. Come along and join us – you’ll receive a warm welcome.
Our excellent facilities include a fully fitted kitchen, 50-inch flat-screen TV, projector and screen, and an audio system with hearing loop. The hall is wheelchair accessible and has a defibrillator on site.
Today’s attractive larch-clad village hall replaced an earlier building and was completed in 2009 with the help of National Lottery funding. It provides local residents and visitors with a thoroughly modern and welcoming venue.
Bowsden Village Hall is a well-appointed, flexible space for family and group celebrations, as well as business and community meetings and presentations. It is the perfect local venue for people from Bowsden and the surrounding areas to meet, socialise and relax in a bright, modern, purpose-built space.
